MSA 5th FTC Robotics Camp (2025)
Want to help your child to acquire knowledge and develop skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Communication, Collaboration, Teamwork, and Leadership? Come to join the Major STEM Academy (MSA) 5th Robotics Camp (2025)! The camp will be mentored by FTC (FIRST Technical Challenge) robotics student veterans under guidance of experienced FTC Coach Simon!
Objectives:
Give 7th - 11th students an opportunity to explore the complete robot building process.
Ignite passion in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Improve communication, collaboration & leadership skills through teamwork, initiatives & self-learning.
Meetings:
3/28/2025 Friday - 5/04/2025 Sunday (Subject to change, start date may be postponed for one week)
Fridays 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Sundays 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm
No meetings on 4/18/25 Fri. & 4/20/25 Sun.
Length: 5 Weeks, 2 Meetings / Week, 2.5 hours / Meeting
Location: Arcadia, CA. Face-to-face Meetings. Detailed address will be provided after registration & payment.
Fees: $675
Students: 7th - 11th grade students who love Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or enjoy making contributions in a project-based team learning environment through effective Communication, Collaboration, Teamwork, Leadership, and community outreach.

Day 1: Introduction of FTC (FIRST Technical Challenge) and team introduction
Day 2, 3: Drive train design & build
Day 4, 5: In-take design & build
Day 6, 7: Programming
Day 8, 9: Integration & test
Day 10: Demo & celebration

Seats are limited. Registration will be closed whenever seats are filled.

Not all interested students may be accepted to the camp.
Per current plan, up to 6 students may be invited to join our FTC teams for the 2025-2026 season.
